Please join us in welcoming our very own Bedford PD puppy, MAVERICK!

To promote overall health and wellness of our Officers, we have started a new initiative in partnership with BluePath Service Dogs which will involve raising little Maverick. This wonderful nonprofit organization places service dogs with children with autism and our Officers will be a significant part of the training process.

For the next 18 months, Maverick will be cared for and trained by PO Montanaro, PO Sagliano, PO Leone and PO Klein. At the end of his training period, Maverick will be assigned to a child with autism as a service dog. Follow along on his journey @bedfordpba and facebook.com/BedfordNY.Police
